Media Brand Financials

This course examines key financial and operational issues unique to digital/magazine publishing. It offers a detailed examination of the financial management and decision-making process for digital brands . Students will learn how to create budgets for content production, audience development, marketing plans and ad campaigns. They will examine the financial implication of staff compensation packages, contracts and other employee matters. By the conclusion of the course, students will be versed in all key aspects of a digital brand financial cycle. This course also examines the financials of a magazine brand¿s extensions, including print, events and licensed products/services.
