From assisting you in understanding how to file the FAFSA to providing you with information about other ways to finance your education, we can take the stress out of worrying about paying for your degree by helping you to develop a solid financial plan.

The Division of Applied Undergraduate Studies offers scholarships for adults in additional to all students who qualify. We are here to assess your financial needs and to help you make the most educated decisions regarding financing your degree, including applying for scholarships offered by the Division as well as those offered by external sources.

Some important tips to help you reacclimate to the college classroom include: deciding what you want to accomplish by earning your degree and consulting with an academic adviser, taking advantage of mentorship programs and tutoring services, utilizing career development services to help you network and prepare your resume, and joining student clubs and organizations to help you make supportive friends. DAUS offers all of these services and more!

If you already have earned some college credit, you may be entitled to credit for prior learning towards the degree you pursue at the Division of Applied Undergraduate Studies. Other forms of prior learning, which may decrease your time to graduation, are reviewed by the Council for Adult and Experiential Learning. AP and CLEP exams, among other learning assessments can also provide credit that is counted toward earning or completing your undergraduate degree.
