Jonathan M. Tisch Center of Hospitality
Hospitality Investment Analysis
Hotel investment underwriting requires complex, multi-faceted analysis. This course will work through the many steps involved, such as analyzing historical data, researching comparative benchmarking data, and developing estimates of future operating performance. This information, together with a variety of historical and forward-looking investment metrics, is then further developed into an indication of market value. Throughout the course, students will be exposed to conventional market materials such as offering memoranda, appraisal reports, letters of intent, and more.
