What makes you proud to be an alum?
I'm proud to be a part of the diverse CGA community that is dedicated to working to build a better world across the many disciplines that the program offers.
What are your main areas of responsibility in your current role?
Monitoring policy and regulatory changes as it relates to renewable energy and understanding and communicating how those trends and changes affect the company's current and prospective portfolio of commitments, as well as leading our stakeholder engagement work as it relates to coalition participation and elected official outreach. I also assist with deal execution as it relates to contract and project due diligence.
How did your time at the CGA help prepare you for this role?
CGA prepared me for this role by providing me with a deep understanding of the energy system and how policy drives private sector decisions as it relates to investment decisions in the energy sector. CGA also gave me a platform to meet a range of different companies and organizations, which allowed me to make connections. In fact, the company I partnered with on my capstone project is the company that I'm currently working at!
