Military Veterans

If you are a US military veteran who seeks to launch a cyber security or global security career, your military skills can provide the perfect transition into these growing and emerging fields.

Prepare for a Cyber Security or Global Security Career That Builds Upon Your Military Skills

As a veteran of the United States Armed Services, the technical, organizational, and intelligence skills you have gained can serve as a strong foundation for a career in cyber and/or global security. By earning the MS in Global Security, Conflict, and Cyber Crime, you can transform these skills into a lifelong career in these fast-growing fields. Many current MSGSCC students are military veterans, Through the Yellow Ribbon Program of which NYU is a part, they have gained veteran education benefits, which will pay for a graduate education that is instrumental for a high-level career in the public, government, or private sectors. Let us help you build your cyber skills and knowledge while establishing your professional network.

Can the Yellow Ribbon Program Help Me Pay for Graduate School?

The Yellow Ribbon Program is a feature of the Post 9/11 GI Bill. If your tuition exceeds what the Veterans Administration (VA) can pay and your school is a participant in the Yellow Ribbon Program, the unpaid difference could be picked up by your school and the VA.
