First Annual Case Competition
Thanks to a partnership with Willis Towers Watson, the NYU Wasserman Center, and the NYU SPS Chapter of SHRM, the first annual Case Competition was a great success. According to our exit survey, nearly all attendees left the event with an expanded professional network.
UNFPA Internship
NYU SPS collaborated with United Nations Population Fund to create a new internship program. Using their newly gained knowledge about team dynamics and brain science, students toured the UN Secretariat and then joined in hands-on work at UNFPA as official interns. By working through a team experience themselves, with a weekly rotating internal team coach, the students developed a Google Site for UNPF's Team Coach Certification programme, while also accompanying Markus Voelker, Head of UNFPA Learning during the training sessions.
