What product or service does Anonymous Agent Inc. offer?
We help average social media users monetize their influence. Right now, we’re starting with the most natural topic: food. We want social media users to try local restaurants and share their experience to get paid!
How did you come up with the idea for this business?
We see a mismatch in supply and demand: local vendors want to market their names, and millions of average and active social media users are not benefiting from their high engagement influence.
Why did you decide to participate in the HI Hub Incubator program?
We decided to participate because it's so closely related to what we do. We are in the hospitality industry, and as a startup, we need help and advice from experts!
What do you enjoy most about creating your own startup business?
Convincing others about the idea was the best part.
What advice would you give to someone contemplating founding a startup?
You will hear a lot of “No's”. You need to be good at picking yourself back up and learning from setbacks.
What is something you learned through this process that you wish you’d known before you created your startup?
Things usually take longer than you first planned.
What does the future of your startup look like in an ideal world?
People refer to our app for services and products, and benefit from sharing.
Have you worked with any alumni or mentors on this project? If so, who and what was that experience like?
We have worked with mentors. It's eye-opening! We can all do research and learn, but sometimes you first need to know the directions/how to start.
