Vaughan Coleman is an Adjunct Lecturer in the Division of Business Programs at NYU School of Professional Studies. He has been at NYU for the past 20 years as a lecturer in Knowledge Management. He also lectures in the Management of Technology Depart of the Tandon School of Engineering in Organizational Behavior.

As the Director of Special Education Systems at the NYC Department of Education, he oversees a team responsible for managing day-to-day processes and system development for the Special Education Process for pre-school students with disabilities as well applications that manages the Impartial Hearing Process, Ten Day Notice, and applications that tracks evaluations for all preschool locations. Prior to joining the Department of Education, he was a Vice President in Human Resources at JPMorgan Chase, working in the areas of Performance Appraisal Management, Human Resources Service Delivery, and Learning and Developing, and Career Development. He brings extensive experience in special education and general education, having taught at all levels of the education system, as well as a corporate background in performance management, and HR strategy, with a proven track record of leading initiatives that enhance accountability, data quality, and business support systems. His expertise has been further enriched as a lecturer at New York University.
