Margaret (Peggy) O'Keefe is a Business and Cross-cultural Communications Professional and Multimedia Specialist. Her career has included experience as a corporate executive, educator, and consultant in strategic media, cross-cultural, and workforce communications. Corporate experience included executive positions with Bankers Trust, The First Boston Corporation, JP Morgan, and Goldman Sachs.
As a corporate media manager at these firms she was in the right place at the right time as new multimedia technologies emerged. She established innovative internal global service delivery and consulting departments producing video, business television, video conferencing and streaming media programs and events. Her insights as a communicator on how technology could be applied and managed facilitated collaboration between senior executives, business managers, creative and technical colleagues around the world.
Cross-cultural communication and diversity management work included college recruitment and firmwide strategic diversity task force assignments at JP Morgan. As an assistant director with the Anti -Defamation League she developed,managed and conducted executive training for the World of Difference Workforce Diversity and Inclusion program.
As an educator she has focused on university, executive, and continuing education, with a particular interest in international students. Currently she teaches a variety of courses in Marketing, Business and Cross-Cultural Communication, International Leadership / Human Capital Management courses at New York University, and The City University of New York. Teaching at CUNY included The Zicklin MBA program and the Contemporary American Business Practices program at Baruch College for International students.
