Marc Shapiro is a commercial real estate attorney in private practice for 40 years. He has closed transactions in every state in the US, and has done work in Canada, Mexico, the U.K., France, Switzerland, various Middle Eastern countries, various South American countries, Australia and New Zealand. He specializes in commercial real estate finance, having closed over 800 commercial loan and 200 commercial debt restructuring transactions. With aggregate deal volume exceeding $36 billion, he has acted on behalf of some of the most prominent financial institutions and wealthiest individuals in the world. He is licensed to practice law in New York and New Jersey.
