Anthony Giacobbe, Jr. is an attorney with more than 30 years of experience in both public service and private practice. Giacobbe, presently serves as an Attorney for the State of New York and previously served as an Assistant District Attorney prosecuting sex crimes, domestic violence, child abuse and crimes against elders. As an attorney in private practice for 20 years, Giacobbe represented the world’s largest banks and insurers in all forms of commercial litigation, arbitration, regulatory investigation, injunctive relief and settlement of complex, multi- million dollar disputes.
Giacobbe has served as an adjunct professor in the Sports Management Program at NYU over the past 20 years teaching Sports Law and Ethical Leadership, Sports Contracts, Sports Management and Gaming Law. Giacobbe also presented to the National Football League as part of NYU’s Executive Education program. While in private practice, Giacobbe served as outside counsel to the National Women’s Hockey League.
Giacobbe obtained his Juris Doctor and Masters in Business Administration from Columbia Law School and Columbia University in 1993. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Government from Georgetown University in 1989.
