Dr. Omar Antonio Alvarez-Pousa is a passionate entrepreneur in the business environment and an innovative professor in the academic field. For more than 30 years, he has developed expertise at international pharmaceutical companies in the US (Zoetis and Pfizer) and in Argentina (Bayer), in addition to top Argentinean companies in the transportation and construction industries, which allowed him to gain his expertise in organizational design, change management, business models and processes, information technology applied to business, Mergers & Acquisitions, startups development and integration, and Program/Project Management.
Dr. Alvarez-Pousa is currently Adjunct Professor/Instructor at NYU (from 2002), San Ignacio University, Miami Business Technological University, and Westcliff University (Irvine and Miami). Previously he was teaching at several national and private universities in Argentina, for 18 year. He became a specialist in developing innovative business ideas through business plans and cases translated into degree courses.
His academic credentials include an Argentinean Doctorate in Administration, plus an MBA and a CPA - member of the Bar in Buenos Aires-, along with Certificates in the US, from NYU, Berkeley, and MIT. Currently, he lives in Key Biscayne dedicating his spare time to research about organizational change, learn art and history, and sharing quality time with his wife and son
