Pamela J. Brown, MS, SPHR-SCP, SPHR, CCP, is a visionary leader in People and Culture with a deep
commitment to fostering inclusion and driving organizational success through innovative HR strategies. As the Vice President and Head of People & Culture at Crunch Fitness, Pamela has transformed the company’s talent strategy, leading initiatives that have elevated employee engagement and performance.
Before joining Crunch, Pamela was the Senior Director of Human Resources at Gallagher Global Brokerage, where she played a pivotal role in the successful integration of over 30 mergers and acquisitions. Her strategic leadership in talent management and cultural transformation contributed to significant revenue growth and margin expansion, while cultivating a collaborative and engaged workforce. At CIFG, as Global Chief Human Resources Officer, Pamela led HR functions across global operations, specializing in employee relations, total rewards, and leadership development. Pamela’s outstanding leadership was recognized in 2024 by Health 2.0 and in 2018 by Gallagher, where she was honored as an Unsung Hero in helping the company achieve growth. Pamela's commitment to driving meaningful change is further evidenced by her role as Board Chair for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) at the Westchester Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). She spearheads programs that advance diversity, foster inclusion, and ensure equitable practices within organizations. Pamela also co-leads the SHRM blog for the New York City chapter, where she continues to contribute thought leadership on current HR trends. Beyond her executive responsibilities, Pamela is an Adjunct Faculty member at New York University, where she teaches master’s courses in Technology Team Leadership. Her teaching enables her to mentor the next generation of leaders, bridging the gap between academic theory and real-world HR challenges. A graduate of Mercy University with a Master of Science in Human Resource Management, Pamela graduated with distinction, building on her Magna Cum Laude honors from Curry College, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business Management. She holds advanced certifications in strategic HR management, compensation, and leadership from Cornell University, SHRM, and World at Work.
