Roxana Dinu

Roxana Dinu has worked as a freelance translator, editor and conference interpreter for over 25 years, including 11 years working as a documentation specialist in the legal department of a French bank in New York. Her expertise is in legal/financial and medical translation. She holds an MA degree in Philology (English, French) from the University of Bucharest, Romania. She has been teaching courses at NYU-SPS, in the MSTI Program, since 2012, including: Financial Translation, Legal Translation, Language Professions and Special Topic Course “Translating Gender Neutrality into Romance Languages.” She is a member of ATA and GALA. She is Language Chair of the Romanian ATA Certification Program and co-moderator of the GALA SIG “Inclusive Language and Terminology.”
