Joscelyn Jurich is a freelance journalist and critic. She has worked as a reporter, editor, and media trainer in Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and Egypt. As a freelancer, Joscelyn has worked for the New York Times, the Huffington Post, and the Village Voice and as a writer for Bravo Productions. Joscelyn holds an M.A. in Journalism/Cultural Reporting and Criticism from NYU, a Master of Philosophy in European Literature from Cambridge University, and a B.A. in Russian and East European Studies from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and is currently a doctoral candidate in Communications at Columbia University. She teaches Human Rights and Journalism as well as Legal and Ethical Issues in Journalism at NYUSPS Center for Applied Liberal Arts.
