Debi Coffield is the Managing Partner of Uncommon Sense Strategic Marketing Solutions, a marketing consulting firm which specializes in launching, innovating and rejuvenating brands. Her career spans over 20 years of success in brand management and marketing leadership, across category-defining companies such as Procter & Gamble, Kraft Heinz, Nike, Remy Cointreau, the NBA, Deutsch Family Wines & Spirits and The Culinary Institute of America.
While diversity of experience has been a driving force, the common thread throughout Debi's career has been a love of passion-driven businesses, and a relentless focus on the
evolution of how consumers see their world. She specializes in taking a strategic yet unconventional eye to rejuvenating brands, innovating businesses and optimizing organizations for the future.
Debi’s industry experience began in advertising, in media planning and account management for general (Grey) and multicultural (The Mingo Group) agencies. She obtained her BS in Communications from Boston University, and an MBA in Marketing from Columbia Business School.
Debi volunteers as a Marketing Consultant with Stanford Seed and Start Small Think Big. She is an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., Columbia University and Bronx H.S. of Science Alumni Associations She has over 15 years of teaching experience in marketing and its related disciplines: branding; strategy development; marketing planning and analysis; innovation and new products; digital marketing; international marketing; consumer behavior; ethnic marketing and marketing research.
