Frank is a renowned advocate for clients in every sector of real estate, achieving substantial property tax reductions and tackling redevelopment and eminent domain issues on their behalf nationwide.
Frank Ferruggia focuses his practice on litigation, property tax assessment appeals, and redevelopment/eminent domain matters. He has considerable experience in litigating tax appeal cases that involve alleged diminution of value due to environmental regulations and contamination.
Frank leads an experienced team of attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff who have handled nationally prominent real property tax cases and set new legal precedents. His list of clients include financial institutions, insurance companies, real estate development corporations, and owners of office buildings, manufacturing facilities, large residential condo/co-op developments, and hotels before the Tax Court. He has a particular niche in representing golf courses, and whether in court, on the course, or in the clubhouse, he has their success in mind.
Frank is a frequent author and speaker, and appears regularly in the media. He is an adjunct faculty member at the NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate, where he lectures on real estate law. He was previously on the adjunct faculty at Boston College’s Carroll School of Business. He currently serves as a trustee on the boards of the New Jersey Salvation Army, the Newark Regional Business Partnership and the Greater Newark Holiday Fund. He is past Chairman of the Princeton Alumni Schools Committee of Northern New Jersey, and together with his wife, past co-Chair of the Providence College Parents Leadership Council.
