Dan Stone has over 30 years of experience in program and project management, solution and data architecture, and strategy and business development. He has worked with Fortune 100 companies such as Pfizer, Lehman Brothers, Ernst & Young, and JP Morgan Chase, as well as with non-profit organizations. He is currently the Executive Director of Financial Information Systems with the NYC Department of Education.
Dan has successfully led the development and delivery of strategic initiatives in technology, marketing, sales, and business transformation. His projects include closed-loop multi-channel marketing, financial applications, executive dashboards, KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), business intelligence solutions, and case management systems.
Dan teaches 'Project Management in IT' and ‘Applied Project Capstone’ at NYU and 'Data-driven Marketing Analytics' at Baruch’s Zicklin School of Business. He has also taught project, program, and portfolio management courses at BTII Institute.
Dan holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from NYU Polytechnics and a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the Polytechnic University of Bucharest (Romania). He is also certified in the 'Business Planning Process' from Advanced Management Systems and holds a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute.
