Dan Bullock teaches public relations, intercultural business communication, and linguistics within both academic and professional programming in the Division of Programs in Business at the NYU School of Professional Studies. His teaching experience spans the development and delivery of professional courses and seminars at Columbia University, The New School, London Business School, Pace University and The School of the New York Times.
In addition to teaching at leading universities, Dan is a Language and Communications specialist and trainer at the United Nations Headquarters (UNHQ) training diplomats, delegates and Global UN staff in specialized and intercultural communication strategies in New York, as well as in permanent missions situated in Europe, Africa and Asia.
Dan previously held the role of Director of Corporate Communications for a leading NYC Public Relations firm and has managed multi-platform media communication strategies for a diverse roster of corporate clients, both nationally and internationally, including TD Bank, Pfizer, and the Greater Taxi Cab Association of New York City.
Dan is the co-author of the award-winning intercultural communication book: “How to Communicate Effectively with Anyone, Anywhere” (Career Press), the recipient of the 2022 Axiom Business Book Award and the 2022 Nautilus Book Award. He also contributes to Financial Times, Harvard Business Review, The Wall Street Journal, Fast Company, and Quartz, Yahoo! News, where he writes about the intersection of global business communication, intercultural communication, and professional development. His research interests and expertise include the intersection of global business communication, intercultural communication, and higher-order workplace skills training for public speaking, negotiating, and persuasive writing.
