Jack W. Perry is Founder and Chief Strategist of 38enso Inc., a consulting firm specializing in book publishing. His main areas of focus include advising and introducing startups to the industry; helping existing publishers scale and grow; and strategizing on organizational structure. Jack has consulted for a variety of publishers, tech startups, Fortune 500 companies and independent authors. He has worked for over 40 different clients including ESPN Books, 3M, Open Road Media, Hachette, Mercury Arts, Authors Guild, Writers House, Diversion Books, Post Hill Press, and Harry N. Abrams Publishing. Earlier in his career, Jack was a sales and marketing executive at Random House, Scholastic, Highlights for Children, and Sourcebooks. He is a member of the board of directors for Berrett-Koehler Publishers and is a founding member of Warbler Press. Jack earned a BA in History and a BS in Finance from the University of Missouri, as well as an MBA from University of Connecticut.
