Sarah Swammy is a Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer responsible for Analytics, Reporting and Administration for Wholesale Control Regulatory at Wells Fargo Commercial Bank. She joined Wells Fargo from Street Global Markets where she was a Senior Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer for both State Street Global Markets, LLC and the parent company State Street Bank and Trust. Sarah has held leadership positions at BNY Mellon and compliance positions at Deutsche Bank Securities, Inc., CSFB and Barclays Capital, Inc.
Sarah has a Progressive 20 year track record including Organizational Transformation, Regulatory and Governance, Sales, Trading, Human Resources, and Information Risk Management across multiple products and businesses in Banking and Global Capital Markets. She currently serves on the New York Institute of Technology Business Advisory Committee.
Sarah is the executive editor and contributing author of The Capital Markets: evolution of the financial ecosystem and author of Governance Compliance and Supervision of the Capital Markets and Crypto Uncovered: The Evolution of Bitcoin and the Crypto Currency Marketplace. She is an adjunct instructor at New York University School of Professional Services. Sarah holds a BS in Business Administration, MS in Human Resources Management and Labor Relations from New York Institute of Technology, MA in Business Education from New York University, Ph.D. in Information Studies: access, systems and services from C.W. Post and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program and Women on Boards Program. Sarah holds FINRA Series 7, 63, 24 and 99 licenses and is a FINRA Arbitrator.
