Henry Pruitt serves as an Enterprise Architect at New York University (NYU), where he plays a pivotal role in identifying and designing technology solutions that support the university’s educational and research missions. His expertise ensures that NYU’s technological infrastructure meets the diverse needs of its community.
As an Adjunct Instructor, Henry enriches his coursework with real-world examples from his extensive experience at NYU. He draws on his background as an IT Project Director, his tenure at a major health insurance firm, and his 25-year career at IBM, where he held roles as an Enterprise Architect and Project Manager. This practical approach helps students connect theoretical concepts with actual applications.
In addition to his professional responsibilities, Henry is actively involved in university governance as a NYU Senator from the Administrative Management Council. His commitment to community service is evident through his roles as a board member and treasurer for the Flat Rock Brook Nature Center and his 14-year tenure on the Englewood School Board, where he served as President and Vice President.
Henry holds an undergraduate degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Electrical Engineering and an MBA in Marketing from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
