Michael Serwetz has had an extensive global career; his experience included leadership positions in retail, marketing, merchandising, design and sourcing; sourcing duties have taken him to more than 30 countries around the globe since 1970.
He worked at Federated Department Stores as a buyer, where he developed profitable new items, pricing and promotional strategies. At Levi Strauss, he was the youngest ever promoted to GMM, marketing the first ever Women’s 501. At Joe Boxer, he worked with Nick Graham to establish an iconic brand. At GoldToeMoretz, he personally managed $100 million FOB. Resident in Shanghai, he owned a China WFOE which served global clients.
He has a BA from Brooklyn College, and an MA from Dominican University of
California in International Business. He was appointed by Dominican to teach MBA courses on site in Wuxi, China. Most recently has taught Global Marketing and International Business Transactions at FIT NY.
