Gregory Bronson has nearly 20 years of industry experience primarily focused on residential property sectors including student housing, multifamily and senior housing. He heads acquisitions at Ashland Capital, focusing on multifamily, student housing and credit opportunities. He has closed over $2 billion of transactions throughout his career across acquisitions, refinancings and recapitalizations leveraging his debt and equity relationships. He is an Adjunct Professor at the NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate. He was previously Director of Investments, Student Housing for Saxum Real Estate. Prior to that he was Director, Real Estate at Safanad, a Middle East backed private equity firm, where he built the student housing platform to 12 properties: over 9,000 beds and over $600 million in total capitalization. Prior to that role, he was Senior Vice President of Acquisitions and Asset Management for Red Oak Acquisitions, a private company focused on commercial real estate and healthcare real estate/operating companies, where he executed over $1 billion of senior housing and skilled nursing transactions. Prior to joining Red Oak, Greg worked at H/2 Capital where he underwrote multiple property types as well as CMBS, whole loans, B notes, mezz, corporate bonds, bank loans and preferred equity. Prior to joining H/2 Capital, Greg worked at Lehman Brothers, providing investment strategy consulting and supervision to high-net worth investors and family offices. Greg holds a degree in Political Economy from Princeton University.
