Ed Price is a British-American analyst and political economist who served as the first permanent representative of the City of London in the United States. Price previously served as the Head of Economic Policy in the British Consulate General New York from 2017 to 2021.
He was Principal for Geopolitical Forecasting at Ergo, a global intelligence, consulting, and forecasting firm. He's written for the Financial Times Alphaville, Barron's and the New Statesman, and has appeared regularly on Bloomberg TV and BBC World.
Price has advised members of the European and British Parliaments and worked in the City of London. He was educated at the London School of Economics (LSE) and holds two Master’s degrees: MSc Finance and Economic Policy and MA German History. He teaches jiujitsu in New York.
