Keith Riegert is CEO and Publisher of Ulysses Press, a Simon & Schuster client publisher, where he oversees a data-driven, digital-marketing-forward publishing program that looks to identify early trends and bring books to market in under-published areas that are rising in popularity. Prior to Ulysses, Keith was Associate Director of Analytics for Hachette Book Group's Marketing Strategy group and was in charge of data-driven marketing strategy for 20 publishing imprints; running social media and digital marketing planning, listening, and analytics across the entire publishing group; and built a 26,000-product, ten-year database combining customer metrics and sales information to deliver marketing insight. He holds a B.A. in English Literature from the University of California, Santa Barbara and an M.B.A. in analytics and marketing from NYU’s Stern School of Business. Keith is also the author of several books, including Goodnight Dorm Room; The Wright Brothers Photographs; Power Smoothies; The Manual; Professor Jonathan T. Buck’s Mysterious Airship Notebook; Going Ninja; and When Ninjas Attack.
