Dr. Joy Ohayia, extremely passionate about health and wellness in all aspects of her life, strives to bring that same enthusiasm to others. The Dr. Joy Brand Mission: “To Disseminate Relevant Wellness Information That Positively Impacts The Lives of Others.” For over a decade, Dr. Joy has been the producer and host of the locally syndicated TV Show, The Dr. Joy Show – “Your Prescription For Total Wellness”, with a focus on “The Seven Elements of Total Wellness,” comprising physical, nutritional, social, environmental, financial, spiritual, and emotional/mental aspects. Dr. Joy is a motivational speaker and author of, “Pivot to Find Your Joy”. She is also the author of “Don't Let "IT" Get You!: An Empowering Health and Fitness Guide for Women.” This comprehensive resource is dedicated to helping readers overcome obstacles to health and happiness.

Fortune 500 companies have also benefited from Dr. Joy’s proven strategies for success, through a program tailored to meet the specific needs of companies and its employees. Healthy, Wealthy and Wise: “Your health is your wealth. Healthy employees make a wealthy company.” is the mantra of The Dr. Joy Workplace Wellness Program, which addresses mental, emotional, and social factors through customized programming to include: health fairs, education, weight management programs, communication, and reward-based fitness programs. She holds a PhD – Natural Health and Holistic Nutrition and Healing from the University of Natural Health, Master of Science, and Bachelor of Science degrees in applied math and statistics, from Rutgers University and Stony Brook University, respectively. During her tenure at Stony Brook University, Joy (Enoch) Ohayia, achieved numerous accomplishments in the sport of Track and Field, earning four individual records for sprinting, one of which still remains unbroken over 30 years later. She is a nationally ranked sprinter with the master’s division of the USATF (USA Track and Field). She also served two terms as a Board of Trustees for the State of New Jersey chapter of CASA, a children’s advocacy group.

Helping others achieve their goals is very important to Dr. Joy. She is a mentor for Take Stock in Children of Manatee County, Florida, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to defeating poverty through mentoring and scholarships. Take Stock in Children of Having been married since 1987, Dr. Joy and her husband Dr, Chiji Ohayia are grateful for their health and safety. They laugh and enjoy life together to the fullest every day.
