Professor Robert Gee is a Top Tier Marketing and Sales executive with classical Consumer Packaged Goods training and a broad Technology background in Consumer Electronics, Video Analytics, Mobile Point of Sale, LED Lighting and Wearable Technology. He has worked for top tier companies such as Procter & Gamble, Unilever, PepsiCo, and COBY Electronics. In 2008, he founded RFG Global Management LLC, a Strategic Marketing Consulting practice leveraging his 30+ years of extensive Marketing/Sales and diverse industry experiences.
He received his undergraduate degree from Boston University (BA - Economics '85) and his graduate degree from New York University’s Stern School of Business (MBA - Finance '89). His core competencies are in Brand Management, Sales Management, Customer Marketing, B2C/B2B Corporate Marketing Communications, and C-Level General Management. He has a proven track record in building leading consumer brands and high-performance organizations both on a domestic and global basis. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated his abilities to transfer skill sets across multiple industries, functions, channels and corporate cultures large and small while adding significant value in each assignment.
Prof. Gee joined NYU SPS in the Fall Semester of 2021 as an Adjunct Instructor after guest lecturing in NYU SPSP Strategic Marketing and Business Planning courses since 2013. He teaches the core NYU SPS curriculum courses of Strategic Marketing and Campaign II: Planning and Management. Prof. Gee brings a real-world perspective in how national leading Consumer Packaged Goods brands are managed. He integrates the principles and concepts of Strategic Marketing and Campaign Advertising to achieve the ultimate goal of “Sustainable Competitive Advantage” to maximize the NYU SPS Integrated Marketing learning experience.
