Matthew Schweitzer is Director, Content Marketing Strategy – Kids & Events at Disney Publishing Worldwide, leading the children's marketing team across Hyperion, Marvel Press, Lucasfilm Publishing, Disney Press, and National Geographic Kids publishing. He is the former Senior Vice President, Marketing at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Books & Media.. He was also Senior Director, Marketing at HarperCollins Children’s Books (Fancy Nancy, Pete the Cat, Pinkalicious, Shel Silverstein), and he has experience in global brand licensing with American Greetings (Strawberry Shortcake, Care Bears) and Ragdoll (Teletubbies). Matt earned a dual BA/BS from State University at Buffalo and his MBA from Fordham University.
