Elias Slaiby has 20 years of experience in construction and real estate development. Elias is the Director of East Coast Development for Insite Property group where he oversees and manages all aspects of Development including acquisition, due diligence, entitlement and government approvals, design, and construction.
Prior to that, he was the Vice President of Construction with GID Development Group, where he oversaw the construction of Waterline Square in Upper West Manhattan, a 2.2 million square feet including two luxury high-rise residential towers, a park, and a large amenity space.
Prior to joining GID, Elias Slaiby was the Vice President of Construction and Design Development with Forest City Ratner where he led the construction of two high-rise residential towers in Pacific Park Brooklyn, a mixed-use development including 14 new residential buildings, commercial space, Barclays Center arena and eight acres park.
Elias was the director of Design and Construction for Acadia Realty Trust. During his ten years with the company he worked on City Point, a 1.2 million sf mixed use development in Brooklyn; Canarsie Plaza and Pelham Manor Shopping Plaza totaling six hundred thousand square feet of retail and office with 17-acre site each; Brandywine Town Center in Wilmington, DE, a one million square feet mall, along with several other developments.
Mr. Slaiby has an MS in Real Estate Finance from New York University. He holds a BS in Civil and Structural Engineering. He is also a LEED Green Associate.
