Yoon H Chong

Yoon is recognized as a trusted advisor to Audit Committees and Chief Audit Executives(CAEs) and he has collaborated with numerous CEOs, Chief Risk Officers (CROs), and CAEs on designing, overseeing, and executing testing and issue validation programs that meet regulatory expectations. Yoon is currently the Managing Partner and Chief Operating Officer at NextAML, LLC, where he leads risk management and Compliance engagements for Financial Services clients including Foreign Banking Organizations. He was the Internal Audit Practice Leader at DLA, LLC and before joining DLA, Yoon was a Principal in PwC’s Cybersecurity, Risk and Regulatory Practice, where he led engagements providing internal audit and compliance testing services for financial services institutions in the banking and capital markets sectors. Prior to that Yoon was Vice President, Internal Audit Department at Goldman Sachs, where he led the department’s risk-based processes covering the bank’s fixed income, commodities, and currencies activities.
