Rajeev Maharaj is a Decision Scientist at Volkswagen Credit, specializing in machine learning, where he applies advanced statistical models and algorithms to solve complex business problems. His career began at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, where he worked in the Bank Supervision sector as a financial institutions analyst focusing on Sales and Trading. He then advanced his career by joining CITI’s Institutional Clients Group (ICG) as a Technical Business Analyst and subsequently working in Risk Management at Morgan Stanley.
Academically, Rajeev holds dual master’s degrees from NYU Stern in Risk Management and Business Analytics, an MBA from Hofstra University’s Zarb School of Business, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Queens College with a minor in Biology.
Rajeev’s extensive experience in the intersections of machine learning, quantitative finance, analytics, and risk management enables him to excel in his field. He is passionate about mentoring students and leveraging his industry experience to provide them with practical and impactful learning experiences.
