Irene Liapis

A certified translator and editor with 25+ years of translating experience specializing in financial, business, and legal texts from Italian, French and Greek to English and Italian, English and French to Greek.  My studies in economics and business (B.Sc Economics, Deree College and M.A. Central Michigan University) were followed by many years of field experience in executive positions.  Prior to becoming a full-time translator, I worked as a high-level corporate executive with UNICEF, BBDO Advertising, Fashion Publications International and Warner Bros. Licensing.  I translated all the texts and the Bound Volumes of the IAS/IFRS into Greek for their adoption by the EU and I translate the annual reports, financial, business and legal documents of many of the top Italian and French companies.
