Riccardo B Schiaffino

Riccardo Schiaffino obtained his degree in translation from the prestigious School for Translators of Trieste University, in Italy. He has always worked in translation: as a freelance translator, partner in a translation company, and, later, as translator and translation manager for a major software company. Currently he works in Aliquantum, a company he established with some experienced colleagues to provide high-quality translations and language consulting. Schiaffino's main teaching experience was at Denver University's University College, where he developed and taught courses on the theory and practice of translation, localization of software and web pages, computer-assisted translation tools, and translation project management. Schiaffino is a certified member of the American Translators Association and a member of the Colorado Interpreters and Translators Association.
