Helen Wan (Publishing and the Law) is a media lawyer, DEI educator, and author. Her novel, The Partner Track (Macmillan) was recently adapted for television as an original Netflix series, and was a Book Club selection of The National Association of Women Lawyers and REAL SIMPLE, as well as a Washington Post Magazine cover story on shattering glass ceilings in the legal profession. Helen is an experienced media and intellectual property lawyer who has practiced at law firms and as in-house counsel at media companies including Time Inc., A+E Television Networks, and most recently as VP & Associate General Counsel at Hachette Book Group USA. Helen serves on the Board of Trustees of The Vermont Studio Center and Pen Parentis, and the Executive Board of The New York Women's Bar Association Foundation.
She is a graduate of Amherst College and The University of Virginia School of Law.
