James Glasgow is the Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer of Willow Hill Real Estate Partners successor to Green Hollow Capital Partners started by Mr. Glasgow in 2019 as a special situations high yield credit investment management firm and responsible for investing approximately $170 million of equity capital. From 2016 to 2019, Mr. Glasgow was President of Building and Land Technology (“BLT”) where he was responsible for managing a combined equity portfolio between the investment management and private side, including office, hotel, multifamily, condominium conversion, and retail assets totaling over $5 billion in asset value. Prior to BLT, he was a partner and co-portfolio manager with Five Mile Capital Partners from 2003 to 2016. Mr. Glasgow was the partner responsible for all the commercial real estate activities of the firm and was responsible for investing approximately $3.4 billion of equity capital post-2007 in special situations/credit. He managed the investment process, execution of the business plans, and disposition of over $6.5 billion of commercial real estate equity and debt. Mr. Glasgow started his career in the commercial real estate lending at Chemical Bank in the mid-1980s and attained extensive equity, restructure/insolvency, structured finance, and high yield experience at The Traveler’s Insurance Company, Paine Webber, and UBS Warburg. Mr. Glasgow holds an MBA in International Business from George Washington University and a BA in Business Administration from Lebanon Valley College, where he serves as Chair of the Finance Committee on the Board of Trustees. He also is Vice President of Westside Little League and is a Trustee, and a member of the Board of Trustees of The Calhoun School, a private school on the upper westside in Manhattan.
