Dr. Vinnie Rege serves as Assistant Dean and clinical professor in Leadership and Management for the Division of Applied Undergraduate Studies.


Dr. Rege brings over two decades of experience in higher education leadership and administration in workforce oriented programs and curriculum. Prior to his current role, he served as the New Bedford Campus Dean and Senior Academic Dean of Business Administration at Bristol Community College in Massachusetts. During his tenure, Dr. Rege oversaw the creation of several new academic programs aligned to workforce needs, increased dual enrollment and early college offerings, secured over $2 million in grant funding, and expanded the college’s commitment to access, equity and inclusion.
Dr. Rege's expertise includes management, marketing, human resources, entrepreneurship, and strategic planning. He has a well established academic record in innovative teaching, strong industry partnerships, and a commitment to student success. Dr. Rege has also served on numerous boards and accreditation committees, including the Accreditation Commission for Programs in Hospitality Administration.


In his role, Dr. Rege is the operational lead for implementing the Division’s strategic growth plan and overseeing the day-to-day academic operations of DAUS, working closely with faculty and staff to strengthen and expand applied learning and student success.
