James Berman is the president and founder of JBGLOBAL.COM LLC, a registered investment advisory firm working with high-net-worth individuals, families and trusts. With over 25 years of experience managing client portfolios, Mr. Berman is a specialist in value investing and asset allocation.
Mr. Berman is a faculty member in the Finance Department of the NYU School of Professional Studies where he teaches Corporate Finance and received a 2014 Award for Teaching Excellence.
Mr. Berman has appeared on CNBC and has been published and quoted in a variety of publications, including the Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, Fortune, Bloomberg, and CNN Money. As a regular blogger for Forbes, he covers financial topics ranging from value investing to the economy. He is the author of Lessons from the Lemonade Stand: A Common Sense Primer on Investing, winner of the Next Generation Indie Award for Best Non-Fiction eBook of 2013.
Mr. Berman received a B.A. (Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa) from Harvard University and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
