Stephen Wetzel

Stephen P. Wetzel, CFP is President and Chief Investment Officer of Prometheus Capital Management. Steve has taught at New York University since 1991; he is currently an Adjunct Professor for the Certified Financial Planning program. He received Awards for Outstanding Service and Teaching at NYU SPS. Steve received his MBA, cum laude, in Finance and International Business from New York University (NYU) and his B.A., magna cum laude, in Honors Economics from the State University of New York-Stony Brook. He has also attended Wharton Business School-University of Pennsylvania, and has an Advanced Professional Certificate in accounting from NYU's Stern Graduate Business School. Steve served as the past President of the Tri-State Philadelphia Financial Planning Association. He resides in Bucks County, Pennsylvania with his wife Christa and sons Brendan and Nicholas. He is an optimistic economist, dedicated family man, perpetual teacher and aspiring triathlete.
