Larry Delson has more than thirty-five years of international business experience, focusing on business in East Asia. He is the founder of his own import/export and consulting business. He speaks, reads and writes Chinese fluently and has lived both in China and Taiwan. His firm provides consulting services for many SMEs in developing their international strategies. His clients include both U.S. and non-U.S. based entities. He is vice chairman of the New York District Export Council, which offers, in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Commerce, consulting services for New York area based SMEs. He is also adjunct assistant professor of international trade and marketing at the State University of New York - Fashion Institute of Technology. He is a frequent speaker to various business, academic and civic institutions including The China Institute, Columbia University, the Fashion Institute of Technology’s Talking Trade events, Citibank, HSBC, the U.S. Department of Commerce and the Connecticut China Business Council on topics in international business and trade.
