Anne is a recent retiree from JPMC, with more than 23 years of executive experience. During her career at the Firm, she managed functions in technology audit, then in information risk management (IRM), and business continuity / resiliency. She was responsible for the Information Risk Management and Business Continuity & Resiliency programs in the firm’s South American region and across Canada.
Anne’s responsibilities included managing staff at various locations; regional strategic planning and governance; physical and logical security; risk assessment of network and application controls; gap analysis and remediation; awareness training; monitoring and reporting; compliance and self – audit. She also ensured the locations ability to recover and maintain business continuity efforts in the event of any natural or man-made disaster.
Anne gives back to her profession by volunteering her time and talents. She is the founding President of the New York City Metro Chapter of the Association of Contingency Planners (ACP) and a Past President of the New York Chapter of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA). She served on both Associations Board of Directors.
Anne is very dedicated to her teaching career at NYU and received the NYU Award for Teaching Excellence. She just completed her 28th year at the University. Life, work, and travels supply Anne with a wealth of real-world experiences that she enjoys relating to her students. Students complete her courses with a full understanding of how to apply what they read from the textbooks.
Anne prides herself on her level of ethics and integrity—values that are important to her in her chosen profession. Anne is very passionate about her work and thrives on the academic interaction she shares with her students.
