The Master of Science in Executive Coaching and Organizational Consulting (ECOC) is designed to address the growing demand for highly skilled and academically trained executive coaches and organizational consultants. Students will be prepared to enhance individual and organizational effectiveness through coaching leaders on goal-setting, presence, performance, and effective communication as well as consulting with leaders on organizational culture, systems and design. Leading academics and industry practitioners will bridge evidence-based science and applied practice to empower students to become more influential and strategic leadership development coaches and organizational consultants.

This 30-credit accelerated MS program can be completed online, onsite or in a hybrid format. It is also accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF), the gold standard in education for the coaching profession.

International Coaching Federation (ICF) Level 2 Accreditation Details

The NYU MS degree in Executive Coaching and Organizational Consulting is a 12 course, 30-credit program with a primary focus on educating and training executive coaches and organizational consultants. It is accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) as a Level 2 ICF Accredited Coaching Education Provider. The program fulfills the academic requirements for the ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential.

The following is a list of International Coaching Federation (ICF)-aligned courses dedicated to educating and training the practice of professional coaching. The professional development program includes 180 instructor-led synchronous hours and 132 asynchronous learning hours solely focused on coaching content, practice, and experiential learning. The academic program also includes an additional 36 hours focused on research practices in coaching and training on the application of social science methodology in conducting coaching research (Research Process and Methods course).
