NEW YORK, April 9, 2019—The NYU School of Professional Studies (NYUSPS) Schack Institute of Real Estate will host the 25th Evening of Monopoly on Thursday, April 11, 6:00-9:00 p.m. at the newly opened Tapestry Atrium at 10 Hudson Yards in New York City. The event’s “Honorary Banker” for the evening will be Matthew Kasindorf, chair, Real Estate Group and partner at Meister Seelig & Fein; an adjunct professor at the NYUSPS Schack Institute; and an esteemed alumnus of NYU.
The Evening of Monopoly is a longstanding annual tradition. More than 400 Schack alumni and members of industry will attend this year’s event, which is open to all members of the real estate industry. All proceeds from the event support critically important scholarship and financial aid programs, as well as a range of special academic initiatives for graduate and undergraduate students at the Schack Institute, one of the largest and most prestigious real estate programs in the world.

About Matthew Kasindorf
Matthew Kasindorf is an NYU alumnus and has earned the “Award for Teaching Excellence” during his more than 15 years of teaching at the NYUSPS Schack Institute. Kasindorf is an accomplished transactional lawyer who specializes in sophisticated real estate and investment ventures in New York and throughout the United States. He counsels clients in the formation, syndication, acquisition, financing, development, sale, and leasing of all real estate asset classes. He has extensive experience in crafting joint ventures, investment funds and other strategic alliances with particular emphasis on business, tax, and finance issues.
