NEW YORK, November 20, 2024—At the 57th Annual NYU Conference on Capital Markets in Real Estate, hosted by the NYU School of Professional Studies Schack Institute of Real Estate, commercial real estate industry icons and up-and-coming leaders explore how the improving macroeconomic sentiment and shifts in the global economy will shape opportunities and risks in real estate capital markets moving into 2025. The event will be held at the New York Hilton Midtown on Thursday, December 5, 2024.
“Capital markets are the lifeblood of the global real estate market, and for 57 years, the NYU SPS Annual Conference on Capital Markets in Real Estate has been the foremost and most enduring thought leadership forum for the global real estate capital markets,” said Marc Norman, Larry & Klara Silverstein Chair in Real Estate Development and Investment, and associate dean of the NYU SPS Schack Institute of Real Estate, and conference co-host.
“This year’s speakers and panelists will share their insights and perspectives on the recent infrastructure boom, financing for sustainable workforce housing, the capital markets for alternative real estate assets, global equity investments, and the next generation of leaders shaping the industry, among other topics, with our audience of NYU SPS students and alumni, and industry professionals,” added Norman.
“This conference has long been a cornerstone for New York’s storied capital markets professionals, offering a platform to discuss the trends and challenges shaping our industry,” said Marcella Fasulo, executive vice chairman at Newmark, conference co-chair and a session moderator. “We look forward to exploring how shifting markets, evolving capital flows, and geopolitical forces are impacting global real estate. The insights shared will undoubtedly prove fruitful for both NYU Schack students and the New York market makers who drive our industry forward.”
