Elektra is a professional conference interpreter based in Paris France, with extensive experience working for the European Union institutions in Brussels, Strasbourg, and Luxembourg. Her career journey began in her home country Greece as a journalist, before she ventured to New York City to pursue a Master's degree in Media and Cinema Studies. She eventually found her true calling in the world of interpreting, while getting a Master's degree at the Sorbonne University in Paris, France.
A multilingual communicator and avid consumer of world news, Elektra is at home in the interpreting booths of international organizations where she puts to good use her simultaneous translation skills and deep passion for global affairs. She is dedicated to mentoring the next generation of interpreters and sharing her expertise and "booth survival techniques" with emerging professionals in the field.
