2022 NYU SPS 2020/2021 Convocation Ceremony - Hammerstein Ballroom - 3:30 p.m., Friday, May 20, 2022

This year, in addition to its Graduate Convocation and Undergraduate Convocation ceremonies, the NYU School of Professional Studies held a special combination Graduate and Undergraduate Convocation Ceremony for 2020/2021 graduates who were unable to attend ceremonies in those years due to the pandemic. The festive occasion brought back recent alums to celebrate their academic accomplishments with their families and friends at the Manhattan Center, Hammerstein Ballroom, on Friday, May 20. The Convocation Speaker was Simone Oliver, global editor-in-chief of Refinery29, a creative global platform for all young people focused on style, wellbeing, and social issues. Ukraine native Roksolana Maria Sheverack, who earned an MS in Management and Systems (MASY) from the NYU SPS Division of Programs in Business in 2021, served as the Convocation student speaker. NYU SPS Dean Angie Kamath also delivered remarks.
