Serving a global workforce of more than 200,000 people, Fenimore Fisher is Aramark’s Vice President for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), responsible for developing and implementing enterprise-wide DEI strategies.
He partners with teams across human resources and operations to develop, implement and embed DEI strategy within the organization. He also manages eleven employee resource groups to advance the work.
An attorney by training, Fisher came to Aramark in 2021, bringing decades of cross-sectoral experience, including as the DEI leader at DLA Piper, Johns Hopkins University, and the City of New York. He also served as Vice President of Diversity and Employment Analysis for Walmart, and as Executive Director of the Rainbow/PUSH Coalition’s Wall Street Project.
Fisher is a native of Louisiana who earned a bachelor's degree in economics from Louisiana State University, a JD from Ohio Northern University, and a labor mediation certification from Cornell University. He has worked as an adjunct faculty member at NYU’s School of Professional Studies for more than ten years.
Ranked as one of the top DEI practitioners in the country, he has received numerous awards and recognitions, including the Founders Award from the Thurgood Marshall Scholarship Fund, the Trailblazer Award from the Rainbow/PUSH Coalition, and the Multicultural Leadership Award from the National Diversity Council and Savoy’s 2023 List of Most Influential Executives in Diversity and Inclusion. Fisher serves as a member of the Corporate Advisory Council for the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, past advisor to Seramount’s Multicultural Women’s Conference,past member of GLSEN’s national leadership council, and an active member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc.
