Kevin J Burton

Kevin Burton is an instructor at NYU’s Tisch Institute of Global Sports. He has taught courses on Intercollegiate Athletics Administration, Sports Economics, and Digital Media and Marketing. Kevin currently serves as the Athletic Director at Chelsea Piers Athletic Club in Stamford, Connecticut. Previously, Kevin was the Associate Athletics Director for Compliance at Columbia University, overseeing all aspects of institutional integrity for the Ivy League institution. He co-founded a youth basketball and sports performance business in New York City and was an associate attorney at several law firms in New York, primarily focusing on civil litigation. He attended Boston University for his undergraduate degree, where he played on the Men’s Basketball Team, later attended Touro University School of Law for his JD and also earned a Graduate Certificate in Sports Business from NYU's Tisch Institute of Global Sports.
