NYU SPS GRADUATE STUDENTS AND DAUS UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS

Global Diversity Scholarship

The SPS Global Diversity Scholarship is designed to help students with financial need participate in SPS Global Field Intensive (GFI) courses during the J-term, spring, or summer semesters. By creating opportunities for students who may not otherwise be able to participate in a global experience, the Global Diversity Scholarship is one effort in our broader mission of ensuring access to global education at SPS. Recipients of the scholarship will receive a grant that covers the entire program fee for the GFI in which they are enrolled. Please note that this scholarship does not cover tuition or registration fees for the GFI course.

All students are welcomed to apply, and we particularly encourage students from historically marginalized communities to apply.

If selected as a Global Diversity Scholarship recipient, you will:

  • Receive a grant to cover the program activities fee of the GFI course in which you have enrolled (does not cover tuition)
  • Attend and participate in pre- and post-travel scholarship recipient receptions
  • Provide a brief GFI experience testimonial upon return from your trip
